KayLynne Ezzell, PT, MPT – Physical Therapist

KayLynne is the Vice President/ CEO of Heights Physical Therapy LLC and Heights Performance LLC. She grew up in the Texas panhandle, active in every sport available. She always knew she wanted to make a career out of her passions – people and sports. She graduated in 2001 from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center with a Masters in Physical Therapy.

KayLynne has enjoyed teaching at the collegiate level in Adapted Physical Education as well as performing guest lectures at her alma mater to increase the awareness, need and empowerment of individuals with disabilities through adaptive sports. She lived and worked in the Dallas/Fort Worth area prior to making the move to the Gunnison Valley. While in Fort Worth – KayLynne gained clinical experience in a wide array of settings. She worked as an orthopedic therapist, treating sports injuries as well as other musculoskeletal ailments.

She was heavily involved in the corporate setting at Alcon Laboratories, working to improve the ergonomics of a variety of work settings, as well as to educate individuals in regards to ergonomics to curb injury and pain. She has also worked in the school setting and Early Intervention programs to service children with special needs/ developmental delays. She and her husband, Trent, embraced the need to encourage the disabled kids they served to dream big and embrace their abilities.

They started the “Lone Star Freestyle Team.” Over a five year period KayLynne and Trent raised money to bring groups of disabled children and young adults in the Dallas/Fort Worth area to the Adaptive Sports Ski Program in Crested Butte. KayLynne has currently worked in the Gunnison Valley over the past 9+ years in the areas of outpatient orthopedics and pediatrics.

When KayLynne isn’t working with clients and on the business -she is enjoying her 3 little ones, and loving the opportunities that living in the mountains brings.
